What inspired you to get into this line of work?
My interest in estate planning was sparked when I was a student studying law. I found the legal complexities of estate planning fascinating and I wanted to make a difference by helping individuals and families plan for the future. As an attorney, I have dedicated my career to helping families and individuals understand the complexities of estate planning, ensuring their assets are preserved for future generations, and that their wishes are respected and followed when it comes to their legacy.
What's one piece of insight you wish all families knew?
I wish all families knew that estate planning is not just about distributing assets after death, but also about protecting the well-being of loved ones throughout their lifetimes. An estate plan can help ensure that the right documents are in place to protect the family and their assets in the event of illness or incapacity. No matter what stage of life you're in, having a plan in place can save you and your family a great deal of stress, time, and money.
